“ Don’t be put off by a few of the reviews.. Fish and chips are very nice. Regular potion is more than sufficient can’t image how big the large potion is.. as stated in other reviews it’s a bit strange that the menus are upstairs but you order downstairs like a traditional chippy but it’s hardly a problem. The food was lovely and the service friendly, prompt and helpful.. Will definitely return. ”
“ Visited yesterday on the opening day the food was good.. the staff was very friendly. The setting is really nice seating is really comfortable too.. it wasnt that busy when we Visited however can see this place filling all the seating as its reasonably priced for the quality of the food. The picture shown is an appetiser portion which is 4!!! Most other places this dish would be double or even triple the price! Definitely recommend.. everything was cooked fresh from ordering and the service was quick. Will be returning soon :) ”
“ Tried this place for the first time. Excellent & clean restaurant staffed by polite & efficient staff. I had fish & chips , peas & a small gravy . Have to say the batter was beautifully crisp & evenly coated a plump piece of tasty haddock. The chips were freshly cooked & a good portion. The peas were a really good consistency, not runny or too thick & tasted great. The gravy mix they use was better than any other chip shop gravy I’ve ever had. I hope they keep up the standard as Preston has needed a quality fish & chip restaurant for some time & this meets the grade in spades. Highly recommended ”
“ Live near Blackpool and went to pappas at least once a week over the last couple of years but this place blows them away big time !!! Chips cooked beautiful and fish superb !! Beats Blackpool chippies hands down !! If they open in Blackpool then I see a few closing !!! ”

“ The service and food here is excellent, the person that served us, recommended haddock, as I don't normally go for haddock, but they assured me it was really good, I'm so glad I listened, they cater for people on a halal diet as well as gluten free, we were asked if everything was OK, absolutely fantastic, highly recommended ”
“ Fabulous meal for 9 people, food lovely, service excellent and friendly, price very reasonable. In addition an elderly member of our group was taken ill resulting in an ambulance being called, the staff couldn't have been any more helpful or caring. BRAVO to you all. ”
“ First time trying Fryday and omg what a delight the fish I think was a haddock cooked beautifully the chips wasn’t overcooked or undercooked everything was bang on I couldn’t pick one fault with this place the menus is brilliant and the prices are great value compared to other fish and chip restaurants/takeaways I’ve eaten at a lot of different fish and chip shops due to being a member of management team for the uk’s best fish and chip shop awarded by the BBC. Honestly I know my fish and chips and this place is incredible I will definitely be back with my friends and family. Thank you Fryday for amazing food and service 10 out of 10 ”
